Particularly drawing in ink, with traditional tools and techniques – dip pen and brush and a bottle of ink.

While working as an illustrator and designer I still sketch and create artworks for my own artistic satisfaction. I have some favourite themes – busy, densely packed humorous drawings; detailed, closely observed drawings of roots and trees; and chiaroscuro brush drawings of mythological or psychological subjects.

I have exhibited in London and across the South East of England, and my work has won several prizes. Since moving to Haarlem I exhibit regularly in galleries in the town.
